2003 K1200RS recommendations?

The only thing I can think of more complicated than a K1100 is the Servo brakes. Your friend needs to make sure the servo and ABS works.
The RS is quite a bit lighter than a LT but still heavy at 660 pounds.
I don't do Facebook so I can only see the one picture. It looks like the fuel line quick disconnects broke or leaked at one time causing the yellow stain on the engine. Not a big deal.
Because of it's age he'll want to replace the rubber brake lines if that has not been done.
Has your friend seen the bike in person?
The bike has the GT shield installed. I would ask the owner if he still has the RS shield.

Ask if the brake fluid was replaced every other year.

VE GOT A FRIEND INTERESTED IN THIS. My initial impression was anything past the 1100's are too complicated. Am I wrong? ......[/url]
Tell your friend to go for it. We've had K bikes since 1985 with zero major issues. Zero!

Here's one for Jack,
