2002 R1150GS QUESTION About Tank Bags and Topcases

Hi,

Looking for recommendations on installing a topcase for my 2002 R1150GS. Need to keep the pax seat in place. What mounting bracket and topcase combo should I look at? Currently I have Jesse panniers on the bike but a call to them revealed they no longer sell a mount for their topcases for my year bike. So I'm looking for some suggestions as to what case/mount system to look for.

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a magnetic mount tank bag that they've used on an r1150gs?

Pretty sure the gas tank is aluminum, so magnetic tank bags are out.

I picked up a Gigi Monokey adapter plate for my '01 R1150GS. I'm loving it. Got it new off eBay.

1150 GS tanks are steel.
Only the 1100S is aluminum.
I really like the SW Motec line of tank bags.
The quick release EVO gas filler ring system is great.

I ordered a Givi E251 universal monokey plate. After talking to a Givi rep I have ordered their part SR694. It is specific for the R1150GS and adds brackets on the side to brace the standard rear rack on the bike. It comes with a M5 mounting plate for Givi monokey boxes. I should have it next week and will let you know how it works. I also ordered the Givi Dolomiti 46l top case to put on it.
