I will move this to the Vintage forum a little later on.

This subject came up on the Vintage BMW Motorcycle Owners forum a few days ago. I thought maybe MaxBMW could do it but they might farm it out. The other places that were offered were:

Brent Hansen
Max BMW
Scottie's Workshop
Barrington Motor Works

Another possibility is to buy a new crankshaft from Ulis Motorradladen in Germany...something like $1300.
