1968 R60/2 crash bar?

This crash bar was taken off a 1968 R60/2 several years ago. It doesn't look the the OEM re-pop "safety bar" on the Max BMW parts fiche, but it was on the bike when I bought it in the 80's. Anybody recognize it and/or know who the vendor was?

Likely OEM accessories. Found this on Duane's website:
