So sorry. I am amazed a model that old was stolen. You must have had it looking like a very tempting target, maybe with that nice saddle you had on it! Hope somehow you get it back in good condition.

I'm as stunned as you are. I think a neophyte saw the roundel and thought it was more than it is.

Bike Is Back

Thieves made it one mile and dropped it twice.

Missing a mirror and a saddlebag.

Cranks but won't start.

Thoughts?

Reasonably good news.
I would check for kill switch to be on, battery voltage too low and manipulate the shifter and side stand to check the contacts.

Does the fuel pump run for a second after you release the start button?

Do you have spark?


You should probably just take it to your dealer and let your insurance company pay for the mirror, saddlebag, and any other repairs.
