Hello everyone. I live in Somerville, MA. Though I'm new to MOA, I've been riding since 2003 when I was an active duty Marine. When I got out in 2007, I did a cross country motorcycle trip for 66 days. See my adventures here: http://asphaltodyssey.blogspot.com/

Anyway, here's a pic of the bike.

Right now its broken. At 113K miles, the oil site glass failed and my engine leaked all the oil while it was warming up...and while I was inside. Came out to a stopped/seized engine. Trying to figure out now how to fix it. Suggestions?

Well that's a drag. Anyway welcome to the forum. Chances are you can ask the questions in The Oilhead section of the forum and you'll get some good answers. The sight glass issue pops up quite frequently. Yours sure picked a inopportune time to crap out. Good luck, Gary

Welcome. Thanks for your past service in the Marines.
A 66 day road trip is a heck of way to celebrate your discharge :thumb.

Check out the oilheads forum for more advice.

Paul Glaves to the white courtesy phone, please.

Paul, among others, has much experience with oilhead engines; I just ride on top of them. If he doesn't pick up on this, try emailing Paul
