maintenance manual for 2018 R1200GSA

I just recently picked up a 2018 R1200GSA. I'm looking for recommendations for a maintenance manual. I have an excellent crowd-sourced manual (see attached) that I've used for years with my 2002 R1150R. Anyone know of something similar for a 2018 R1200GSA? Failing that, any recommendations on other maintenance manuals I could consider? Thanks for your help!

The BMW service manual is on DVD and available from your dealer or one of the online dealers.
Part number is:

01 DVD Repair Manuals R models K5x MULTILANGUAGE 1 01598405652 for R1200GS
01 DVD Repair Manuals R models K5x MULTILANGUAGE 1 01598405651 for R1200GSA

You can double-check those part numbers with your vendor: have your VIN handy.

Pricing is around $113.00 IIRC.

I have the Haynes manual and think it's pretty good.

It's $40.95 for the hard copy or about $20 on-line for a one year subscription.

Also, don't overlook the videos of Boxflyer and Chris on the Street on Youtube.

They focus on the RT, but an awful lot of the work is common to both the RT and GS.

I picked up a Haynes manual, but it is nothing to write home about on top of talk about cheaping out and using what looks like bum wad for page material.

You are far better off going to YouTube and downloading the series there.

Not so long ago I would have agreed with you. But these days tissue like paper or “bum wad” is of great value and widely sought.

Well if I run out, I can use the Haynes manual.

I was at Walmart Friday and the aisles of bum wad were totally out. I could not believe it. Yet the food aisles were completely stocked. lol

What is it about people?
