I made the switch from RAM, initially using the X-Mount and then the clamp mount. Moved to the Tackform and it has worked great, smaller form factor and great build quality. Tackform is located less than an hour from my house so I picked mine up from their location outside of Chicago, met the owner and a number of the staff. Has worked great and I even switched my RAM mount in my car to a Tackform.
