Gas leaking out of vent hoses

Update

Finally took the tank apart and replaced the inner vent lines with the correct code submersible fuel line (One meter long bought from Parts UK) and that did it. No more leaking. The old lines looked perfect, though they were rock hard, and no I did not test them to see why they were leaking. The new lines cured it, so I looked no further.
