New to BMW bikes & MOA

Hi,

Just joined MOA.

I bought a BMW 2016 S1000XR about a year and half ago. I've put over 11k on the bike with a trip to NC area from Tampa, FL and trailered up a few times to ride all the good NC, TN, GA roads. Just rode down to Key West for a few days of camping, area still recoverying from the last hurricane but most everything is opened.

You've put some fun miles/roads on your bike in the past year. I am envious that you are able to ride and camp at this time of year. (I'm living with lots of snow :laugh ).

When you have time, put a picture up of your ride.

Welcome! I test rode an XR a couple years ago. What an engine! Don’t know if you came across this video of a stunt rider flogging an XR off road but it’s a good one:

Irish, I had seen that XR video before, but thanks. That guy is crazy and good, he must turn of all the abs and traction control. 😀
