Shuberth C4 Helmet/17 RT Top Box

Does anyone know if a Large Shuberth C4 fits in the large RT Wet Head Top box?
I have a large C3 and it fits fine in the top box. The C4 is a larger shell. The last time I went to the shop to try one on I forgot to see if it fits in the top case. It is bigger.......

I appreciate your help. Saves me a trip back to the shop. If I can't close the lid it could be a deal breaker for me........

Hi Dennis,

Cool! My guess would be that it should fit? My C3 does not have a tone of room. As an after thought, I started wondering if the larger shell on the C4 would still fit the case?

I just replaced my C3 and looked at both the C3 Pro and C4. The C4 is noticeably longer front to back. I wasn’t sure it would fit in a R1200GSA top box, so I went with the C3 Pro.

I know my XXL C3 will not fit in the top box on my '15 RTW, which was a bit disappointing (no problems with stowing it in the GIVI top box on my old R). No problem, I just stow the helmet in the panniers, fits just fine.
 
My XXL C3Pro fits into my 2016 RT’s 49L top box. Also into left side case; never tried the right.
