I guess I'm going to have to try Dynamic.
I'm a conservative driver and my '16 has much more kick than the '98 R1200C I had before so ROAD has been very pleasant. My trip down to the Boston area this afternoon may be exciting :)

Do it! You'll have quicker throttle response when the folks on Rt 3, 128, and 93 do their usual antics in front of you....

I use Road mostly, but when in the twisties, I find Dynamic much more fun. The throttle response is snappier and the firmer suspension suits the road.

Initially I played around with all the ride modes. Then I settled into Road mode unless I was riding aggressively in twisties. I found I preferred the more responsive throttle of Dynamic mode and I didn't like recalibrating my wrist twist every time I changed modes. Now I leave it in Dynamic the whole time I'm on pavement and just change the suspension settings. "Normal" for my commute on the slab. "Hard" for aggressive riding. "Soft" for riding with my wife on the back. With practice I've found I am used to the more responsive throttle and have no issues with it, even in the rain or when riding in stop and go traffic.

Most of the time it is set to Dyna / Normal / One-up with luggage. If I'm the road is damp or slightly wet I'll switch to Road, and if it is full rain then it gets set to Rain.
