Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and oilheads. I'm replacing tires and wanted to get the correct spline size for the removal of the brake calipers. thanks ahead of time!

If I understand the question you want to know the correct Torx size to remove parts to change tires. On my '03 R1150R the caliper bolts are T45. The wheel bolts are hex 17mm.

Edited to correct Torx size from 42 to 45: my oops!

thanks!

thanks everyone for the info. I figured it out while wrenching today. Put new tires on,, air filter,, new fog light bulb,, checked radiator belt,, installed AF-xied. Tomorrow,, adjust valves,, spark plugs,, oil and filter,, throttle body sync. thanks again! this is a great forum!:)

Welcome to the forum. I see somebody has already answered your question and apparently you didn't waste any time in diving right in to your project. Good job! I also ride an '02 R1150RT. It has it's quirks, but overall it's a fantastic motorcycle.

Ride safe!
