Deleting pictures

I seem to have duplicate pictures on the server. Can I go in and get rid of them? Can I view them instead of seeing just an icon? When I upload I see rows of icons but no images. I would like to know how uploaded pictures are stored and why I can't see mine.

When you go to upload a picture you will see all the ones you have previously uploaded. This is where knowing where or what the picture with the question mark is so you could click and drag it into the box for reuse.
For complete access/editing, try-
My Profile> upper right
Forum actions>
General settings>
Attachments> on the left panel
Follow the prompts to delete, this tells your usage as well.
If I remember correctly, this will take the images out of your posts (past) as well- I'm a little rusty on that part

It seems I'm duplicating myself with this question. No posting is showing two pictures. The list of pictures seems to have duplicates. I'll look into this with the info given and see what happens. Thanks

Following Omega Man's instructions I deleted two of three duplicates. I don't know if the remaining one will appear in the thread where it should. I'll have to search for it. At least I know how to get rid of the extra pictures.
