With the $1000 BMW accessory "voucher" available to individuals once our shock is installed, I'd like to put some of that $$ to engine guards (BMW rather than after market). I haven't been able to find anything yet that specifies that such a product is in deed available? Anyone care to enlighten me?

Before you buy any brand, findout whether or not you will need to remove the bars to perform basic maintenance such as removing spark plugs or setting the valves. If so, then I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

They certainly are available.

There are head protectors and there are three pieces to the engine protection bars all available from wunderlich which is BMW. there is the engine bars, then add the rear protection bars and then add the cowling bars. With a spacer kit you can have the engine bars co-exist with the head protectors nicely. No prob with maint procedures.
