Experience linking Schuberth helmet bluetooth to Scala? Sena?

Bought a new Schuberth C3 Pro last year. Didn't get the helmet comm at the time, because it wasn't in the budget. Now hubby and I are looking to upgrade our bike to bike communications. I love the in helmet system idea. But he just got a new, non-Schuberth helmet himself not long ago, so that won't work. Wondering if anyone HAS used the Schuberth system and linked it with a Scala (or Sena) successfully?

I hear that Sena has now updated their units to link with "other" bluetooth systems.

Looking for direct experience, here, don't send me a link to the various systems.

Thanks!

SRC connecting to Cardo Scala

Karla and Faye have Schuberth helmets with the SRC installed. I have a helmet with Cardo Scala. They connect just fine. Even use the same charging cables since the Schuberth SRC is based on the Scala. We had a three way conference going on the ride to and from the Laurel Highlands Rally a couple of weeks ago.

Battery life

I find that a full charge lasts me for a riding day. I usually stream music into my helmet using Bluetooth. I am lucky because as my wife and daughter have purchased new Schuberths I have their Cardos available so I can always have a fully charged headset ready. If I wasn't streaming music I expect it would last for more than a day on standby and just talking bike-to-bike every so often.
