2013 R1200RT - valve clearance check? And changing trans oil?

Somone posted a how-to post complete with pictures and explanations as to how to check the valve clearance and shims awhile back. If anyone can help me locate that I would greatly appreciate it. Also, any tips on changing the trans oil on the R1200RT model year 13 would be well received. :dance

In the hexhead/camhead area of the forum (where this thread is posted ) there is a DIY Library; it is at the top of the page. It has detailed how-to threads for just about anything you could want to do. When you enter the DIY Library you may need to reset the display options to show all threads from the beginning instead of from only the past year; I always do.

I've edited this thread title also to better reflect the subject of your posting. You might also consider going to "Settings" - on the left side of the screen is "Edit Signature" - adding a bit of info there (real name, bike year/model, general location) might help in finding people in your area (or having them find you) who may be able to help you out. Plus it's a friendly forum..
