I have a 73 R75/5 LWB that uses a lot of oil. I would do the top (side?) end myself, but I work out of state, am only home every other week, am getting ready for a move, and sundry and various other reasons I cannot do it myself at this juncture. The link at ABC does not work, so I am wondering about a dependable, trustworthy Beemer repair shop or individual who may be available in my neck of NC (Wilkes County) that could do the work. Also I would like some suggestions on where to get the heads done. I really hope to get it done soon cause I want to ride! Don't hate me cause I cannot do it myself right now.

You might try Bombars over in Durham or there is a guy in Asheville across the road from the BMW dealer who is highly recommended.
