tank cracks again

Just had the chain/sprocket recall done yesterday. At that time they pointed out cracks again in the fuel tank that had been recalled a year ago. Has anyone that has had the tank recall done noticed this again?
Dealer said it would be replaced again with no charge. (reocurred within two years)

My (original) tank is cracked, but I have not bothered getting it replaced as it is not a safety hazard (tank is a double-wall system) and it does not appear that the re-designed tank with the slightly larger radius corners really fixed the problem.... :banghead

A number of owners have had their 2nd tanks crack...

I'm waiting till near end of warranty and hopefully we'll see a re-redesigned tank that doesn't crack ... and holds several extra liters of fuel ... yeah ... I know ... I've always been a dreamer...
 
Same here guys, 2nd cracked tank on my F650GS Twin!

Hi Jack and Jim Bob, Exactly the same situation here, BMW of Scottsdale has now replaced my fuel tank twice on my bike. I do wish BMW would get this one right!!!
