Hi Audet-
I just bought an '06 GT and was wondering what type of "hiccups" you were having?
Thanks,
R.

Bike was very jerky and on \off throttle was very brusk below 25 km\hr
rpm would hang around 2200 while slowing down on compression

Ok, mine seems to have those symptoms (or similar). Do you know what the difference in the air box is? I wonder if the new setup is just restricting the airflow a bit? I've been doing a lot of low speed practice and am getting used to the transition from throttle-off to throttle-on, but there are still times when it lurches.

I bought my bike used last week (it's an '06), and I'm going to see if I can subscribe to the technical service bulletins. So far I'm very happy with it, except for the dang seat. And I just don't know if I can justify spending $1000 on a new Corbin. The Rick Mayer seat is about half the price and I've heard good things about them, plus Ojai is sort of local to me as the halfway point on some of my weekend rides. I'm going to try to get used to the current seat for now...

Good luck with your ride, it really is a fantastic bike.

Hi Robday,

I don't know about the airbox change but it also includes a servomotor change. This affects idle. It makes low speed driving much smoother. They also remapped the computer.

I changed to a sargent seat which is a big improvement also cheaper.

Good luck with yours.

Bob
