Photoshop paint choices?

Question - is there a way to switch color options on a line drawing of a bike in Photoshop or some other program or method to see how different colors would look?

Am I stuck with trace and color?

Thanks

not really sure what you are asking. Can you post pic of what you are working on?

simple way to avoid clipping things out is mess with hue/saturation or replace color, both under Image > Adjustments
