Givi top case lock

Are there any options if I want to be able to close but not lock the Monokey top case. I get tired of having to dig for the key every time I want to get into the case. Come to think of it I'd like to be able to do the same with the BMW side cases, no I don't want to break off the red locking tab, outside of that all suggestions are appreciated.
