Brake Warning Light Remains On

Today when I started my R1150RT it went thru its usual test of the ABS. But the General warning light stayed on and the ABS light is blinking at 4 Hz. The brakes are working but the ABS on the front seems to be working but the back I dont believe is all of the sudden. Any suggestions on how to reset this?

Moved to Oilheads.

Are the lights alternating when they flash? If so, your battery is getting weak.

Has the bike been setting all winter without running? If so ride 20 minutes, shut off, restart, and light should stay off.

The R1150RT has integral ABS. You have specific fault codes that show themselves as specific blinking light patterns. Look them up here or on the little sticker that came with your bike.

The brake warning light will also stay on if the brake light bulb is blown. Check it also.
