Bright Ideas For BMWMOA

auto-generating threads? dont we already have a script that automatically generates the following threads every month or so?

- "i didnt get my ON yet!"
- "can i use non-BMW oil?"
- "where is the 2010 rally?"
- "i got my ON!"
- "the new bikes are ugly!"
- "the new bikes are gorgeous"
- "motorists are dopey!"
- "can anyone recommend a good anti-fogging solution?"
- "what tires should i get?"

How about a DYNAMIC link on the MOA front page that says: Today's Forums Hot Topic: Lifting your Motorcycle

Dynamic means the link changes every 15 minutes or so to show the latest or most active post. Then you can drive traffic from the front page to the Forum.

Sorry , Whew long day, and then I had to watch the season finale of 'The Office'

OK here's an idea....

As you all can see from my post count I haven't been very active here at the BMWMOA forum. Why? Might have something to do with content. We need more and better content. Quality content begets quality content. :huh

Or something like that.

How do we encourage more better content? Maybe a little incentive would help. :deal

Maybe if we award the 'best' Ride, tech or product evaluation report of each month posted here on the forum with a little recognition by putting it in print in the BMWON. Not that we don't get some great reports here but I would wager we'd get more and better thought out reports if that were the case.

There, that's one of my 'bright ideas'. Dumb? Been floated already? Doable? :dunno

Anyone else have any bright ideas? :1drink

If you want content then give us content. Lead by example.
