Using GS-911 to balance throttle bodies

Lately I've seen reference to the fact we can use a GS-911 to balance throttle bodies by looking in the Engine/Real Time Values. Can anyone elaborate on this? It's not too obvious to me.
Thanks

AFAIK the GS-911 is used to lock the idle actuators while you sync the throttle bodies in the usual way.

I agree with RadioFlyer. There is a good how to thread on syncing the TB in the Tech Library at the top of the HexHead forum. When you go to the library you must go down to the “thread display options” area and reset the “Show threads from” box to Beginning.

It's never occurred to me to try using real time values to check throttle cable sync and I've never heard of it being done. I don't think the GS-911 will even let you lock the idle actuators and see real time values at the same time.

Pray tell what real time values would indicate throttle sync? I can't think of any .
