2012 RT DWS (Anti-Theft Alarm) Question

After more than a year of ownership I'm getting around to playing with the DWS (Pkg 603). It's operation is covered in a separate manual from the Riders Manual and I've had no luck sourcing one. No luck finding info on it's operation... just battery replacement.

I've tried to leverage from my '12 K16 GT manual but the systems are different.

I get two beeps, two turn signal flashes and the indicator on the dash after hitting the left button once. Three beeps, three flashes and the dash light after two pushes. Right button cancels the dash light with a single beep and flash. That's it...

I don't get a motion detector alarm when the bike is moved nor have I figured out a way to activate it without the remote.

Is that all there is?

In a nutshell:

I get two beeps, two turn signal flashes and the indicator on the dash after hitting the left button once - This means the system has been activated. 15 seconds later the alarm will sound if the motion detector is tripped, if there is an attempt to start the bike without the proper key or disconnecting the alarm itself.

Three beeps, three flashes and the dash light after two pushes - This activates the system as above only the motion detector is inoperative... handy for ferry boat, Eurotunnel transport.

Right button cancels the system with a single beep and flash.

More involved programing enables automatically activating the system when the key is turned off, turn off the lights/beeps and change the alarm sound.

Thanks again Mike.
