rally app

where did we even GET aggravation prior to computers??? was is just our parents???
Having spent a career in IT I can tell you that IMHO too much effort has been put into extending features and not nearly enough into useability. In my experience, people are universally happier with things that are easy to use even if they have limited functions than they are with tools that do "everything" but make them feel frustrated and stupid.

Having said all that, despite the clunky process to get registered for our rally app, once in it has a lot of good tools and is much more useful than a static document, so I encourage everyone to make the effort. Leave your feed back here - good and bad.

Last week I put the app on my phone and tablet.
Yesterday I noticed I had not signed in on the tablet app.
It tells me to sign in with my email address. When it asks for my email password it won't take it.

I think you use the password for the app, not your email password, unless you made both of them the same which is not a good practice.

They have a step by step here:

I believe that all like-minded folks will be welcome at Airhead Central (the airhead beemer club tent)! I know that I'll spend a fair amount of time there. :)

I was able to reset my password and login to the app on my phone and tablet.
Now I can't see any Rally info on the phone or tablet.
All I can see is who's on the app.

Is there any way to reset the password for the app without being logged in? I cannot log in with any of the passwords I currently have. So frustrating...

Look for a “forgot my password” option to reset it via an email, usually on the log in screen where you enter the password.
No such thing on the app. 5 options: Rhythm & Rides Reunion, Register for National Rally, News, Events, Community. Even if I click on Profile, it offers Sign In, and About this app. Maybe you could change it after logging in but I don't have the correct password to get in.

I don’t know what device you are on. Could you delete whatever part of the app you have and start from scratch?
While it is difficult to remember, a weekly turning off of a mobile device helps it get its guts reorganized and can improve performance.

Forgot password is on the login screen after you enter your email address. Touch the Rhythm & Rides Reunion header image, then sign in. Once you enter your email address and get to the password screen, you will see the option for tesetting your password,

That's why on "no real reason for the security in the first place" stuff like this app I'd use something like "Abc123!" :ROFLMAO: :dance
