Washington DC Area question? temporary trailer trailer parking?

Hi all. I am driving from NY to Fl but would love to stop in DC to have dinner with my daughter.
The only problem is that I'll be towing a trailer with my GS on it.
Dont think it will be easy to find parking in DC with a trailer.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can safely park the trailer with bike on it for a few hours while I drive into DC for dinner?
Kind of silly question. I dont know anyone in the area to ask a favor.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
You may be able to make pre-arrangements at a police department for short term parking. Frequently police departments have an area for secure “Craig list” type transactions that may be available.
With heighten security, it will probably require an inspection of the trailer.
If nothing else, the police should be able to suggest a secure spot.
You could also try a location outside the beltway such as Virginia.
Good luck.
