Where can I find the GPX file of the BMW dealers to load into my new Garmin Zumo XT?

I expect this question has been answered somewhere here on the forum, but I'm not finding the answer using the search. I had the dealer database update in my old Zumo 660, but I suspect it is seriously out of date by now.

They are not preinstalled on the XT. You can go to motorcycle locations and search for an area. It's better to download them from POI factory and the use Garmin poi loader to add them to the XT.

As a personal project, I recently created a POI file using the downloaded BMW Motorrad dealer database as a starting point. Some that information was no longer correct (i.e., some dealers had closed, some locations had changed, etc.), so I made those adjustments using Google Maps, Google Earth, and web searches. My last update was current as of 11/1/2021. I will be happy to share this with anyone. Just send me a private message with your email address, and I will send you the POI file (which is small -- 21k).

If I can find a good location to host the file online, I will post a link to the file here.

BMW updates the database yearly, usually in the spring. Bookmark the site and check back around May or June.
