Since we're moving from Georgia to the Caribbean, there is an unbelievable amount of stuff I need to find a new home for. In this particular case, I have some tools for working on Airheads that I don't remember what they're for. These just cannot end up at a recycler but before I try to find a good home for them, I need to know what they were for. I have some guesses but...

The "H" looking thing I think is for aligning rocker shafts. I think I had it for a /5. If so, would it be for a /6 as well?

Then there are two pics of something I think is wheel related. Bearing puller?

That last pic might be for keeping the camshaft from sliding forward when replacing a clutch, but that is a WAG.

Any help would be mucho apreciado.

The "H" tool is used to align the rocker blocks when torquing the head bolts. The middle one is a tool used to remove the axle cover on the early bikes. The long bolt is put through the center of axle hole and the four pins engage the cover. With a little bit of pressure on the long bolt, the handle can turn to slowly back off the cover. Not sure exactly what the third picture is.

Thanks, Kurt. So for the H tool, /5 only? /6? /7?

Axle cover - '55-69?

The /5 and early /6 rocker arms didn't have locating bosses and thus it was necessary to try and get them correctly located. Duane Ausherman shows the tool along with his discussion near the top of this page:

Certainly, the /2 bikes had an axle cover (I think it's called a hub nut), but didn't the drum brake /5s? I've never them on the /5s, but the Cycleworks site shows different tools for /2 and for /5 hub nut removal.
