Did you write this?

Nope; got in an email from a coworker. He and I enjoy food (and cooking) and have been discussing Feasting on Asphalt and all the places Alton & crew stopped at.

Another great Food Network show is "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". I gotta start taking notes on that one...

RT Randy: No Burnszilla and I are not related, however we are brothers of a another mother or something like that. Heck, don't think he and I ever met! I had hoped to meet a few fellow posters at the Rally, but I missed the get together at the Beer Tent. I was doing my shift at the Registration Tent at that time I think. I did get to meet SheRidesABeemer (Gail) though! We worked together...

Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, did a piece on the Eveready Diner in Rhinebeck, NY.

If you get a chance to go this is a must do stop. Had breakfast there on Sunday morning. Neet place right out of the 50es. :clap

Has anyone put together a list of the places he visited with their coordinates?

By the way, the DVD set has a "bonus disk" (film that hit the cutting room floor) with a lot more restaurants - good ones, too.

Fred

Looking for a job

Does anyone want to hire me to ride my bike all over North America to places like Alton and Guy visit? I'll gladly make a review and take photographs!:clap

Oh, sure! Piss him off! :nono Just when I was going to shoot him an email suggesting that he might want to add a few motogastrophiles on VINTAGE AIRHEADS to his next series ... :buds

The only great thing about it is the places that get featured. The host is one of the most annoying people on TV and I want to puke all over everything when I hear him describe something yummy as 'money.'
