R80RT Security Lock, What's it Worth?

After cleaning out my garage I found a Security lock that came from my 1983 R80RT. It slides into the frame infront of the tool tray. I don't have a key for it but the local lock smith said he could make a key for $35. What is this lock worth? Thanks!

I have one for my /7...I kind of like it, how it stores w/o taking any space. There was a post about a year ago for one available from Motobins...

The cost of a new key sounds like you could buy a brand new one.

I had two of them and gave them away for the cost of shipping. It's worth what somebody will pay or what you'll accept. I figure if someone can use them, selling them won't get me any closer to retirement.

I have owned three of them, each with different airheads. Nice feature that they can fit into the tube. As far as value, probably not much.
