R1150RT engine guards/highway pegs

I am trying to find an engine guard for my '04 R1150RT (Twin Spark engine) so I can mount the Illium highway pegs. Ztechnik makes an engine guard but it will not fit my bike because of the twin spark engine. If an engine guard/highway pegs is not an option, what other options have folks tried?
