R1150 GS ADVENTURE - Looking for dimensional fuel tank info

globalrider

Alps Adventurer
I have both a 2003 R1150 GS Adventure and a 2016 R1200 GS LC Adventure, but the R1150 GS is not available for the info I am looking for.

I am looking for a measurement as shown in the pic below. The horizontal distance from the front edge of the gas cap trim to the front of the gas tank on the R1150 GS Adventure (the standard GS tank might be different)

I want to use the SW-MOTECH Tank Bag (Daypack) from my R1200 GS Adventure on my R1150 GS Adventure. Not an issue getting the tank ring for it, but I want to know if the SW-MOTECH Tank Bag the way I mounted the Top Ring to it for my R1200 GSA (the plate under the bag) will interfere with the handlebars, etc on my R1150 GSA.

Looking for the horizontal distance of "D". Not my pic by the way...looks like that tank is dented ahead of the fuel cap.

I'd like to compare it to the legth of the line on my R1200 GSA LC.

Thanks!

Almost 200 views. Wow, I must have one hell of an antique, that or nobody has a tape measure or owns an R1150 GSA anymore. :laugh
