Wow, that looks gorgeous. I love the paint scheme. Not so sure about the exhaust though. I never heard good things about an aftermarket exhaust on a K-bike.

I do love this bike as I can do so much with it from dirt roads, to camping trips, to daily commute, to sporting long day rides, to the track. If I had a stable of bikes then they would each have a focus. I only can have the one for now and it has to do a lot of very different tasks.

Many months ago I sold My 1996 R1100RT with 108,000 miles on it and had just planned to not ride again but the fever came back so I started to look around in the area and found this 1995 K75S in El Paso. I need to do some scheduled work on it but here she is after detailing.

My first BMW, 1996 K1100RS, purchased in November 2001, sold in May 2005. Repurchased in September 2010. Five years and 4,000 miles later it is back in my garage. It needs some TLC, but that is half the fun. It currently has about 26,000 miles. It has a Corbin seat, a Parabellum screen and Heli bars for a very comfortable ride.

Having been relieved of my driving privileges 2+ years ago I wasn't in a rush to do anything with the K100RS. It's at Cliff's BMW in Conn. as I write this. New front master cylinder, re-built rear master cylinder, re-built rear caliper and Metzler Laser Tech tires. Turns out the tranny is good to go. Having heated grips installed so i can ride this winter and make up for lost time.
