Hello all, just bought a 23 S1KRR, (my first BMW) and found this club on a different forum. My dad had an R75, so I think it was predetermined that I’d eventually get a BMW. I look forward to learning and speaking with everyone.

Hallo Pete from NY! What Zip-code pray tell?

We love riding thru New York - Just NOT the Big Apple - never again! We used to be regulars at the Finger Lakes Rally (sadly, OBE when C-19 struck)...

With a bike like you’ve acquired, I'd suggest some professional rider training {so you’ll live as long as your Dad}! The MOA Will Pay U to get trained once a year - can’t beat that with a stick! :whistle

Might I also suggest these folks up in your neck of the woods...

Have fun enjoying your new Motorrad machine! Wave as U go by; we will too! :wave

Happy Trails whenever U can - Ciao!

Thanks for the info! I’m in eastern Long Island.

I know she can be unforgiving if not respected, so I’m taking it slow.

Welcome! I left Long Island in 2002. I miss it sometimes, but there's no going back. Good luck with the new bike.
