Motor Number Location 2015 R1200RT - In Case Anyone Cares

Someone over in the Hexhead/Camhead forum was asking about a motor number location for a 2010 RT. I happened to have the lower-right side panel off the bike today, and found the number on my 2015 just below the starter motor. Here's how it looks:

Seems to have no relationship to the VIN, nor the date of manufacture.

Correct, even stocking in shipments of bikes with sequential VIN's (VIN & EN are on the invoice from BMW to dealers), the EN's appear to be relatively random.

Must verify that VIN of bike matches title in order to enter Mexico.

Usually the “VIN” tag is on the neck of the frame. You might have to a bit of looking through the rest of the “clutter” with a flashlight.
