Mid-South ride, eat, and meet

Thx, Jeff; your so 'kind'. You thought I was going to say nice. :) On the trip down, I passed thru Spartanburg, S.C.. went right by the BMW Zentrum and manufacturing plant. Wasn't able to stop. If your ever in that area, the BMW museum there is really worth a visit. :thumb

How do you like your Victory Crossroads? I gotta bike kinda like that; a '95 H/D Road King. It's on loan to a buddy of mine. I need to go get it and ride it some.

I like it a lot. It is a very comfortable bike to ride. Easy on the knees and hips. Nowhere near the wind management of a bike with a fairing but I like the wind in my face. So far just tires and oil to deal with. I also like the amount of storage in the bags.

Just got back from a 2500 mile ride. Home to Chicago then Rt66 to Tulsa. Then back through Arkansas and the northern Ozarks. Bunch of 12 hr days in the saddle and no complaints.20170612_203802.jpg

Looking good. Northern Ozarks, are some of my favorite riding areas. :thumb

Sweet 16

Lots of interesting roads in the Ozarks. One of my personal favorites is Highway 16. The western end is Siloam Springs and the eastern end is Searcy. Check it out, it winds all over the Ozarks. It's a rockin cool highway.

Luv the look. Really like the Alpine White with blue accent. Hope to get one before I retire from riding. Make it 70 HP with some touring components. Hoping, dreaming, wishing won't get it done. I just gotta do it. :thumb

He told me 'I like the bike'; But I can't reach the ground in the saddle. I went through the usual spell. Low seat, short shock, push fork tubes up in the triple tree, modify the side and center stand. Or

Take a new bike and make it look 70 years old. That is a special talent my friends. I have a talent to take a new bike and make it look like junk in a couple of years wth no effort at all. :) Neat new/old bike though.
