Klim and their Warranty, be warned!

Air Bag Vest

They warrantied my Klim Ai-1 Airbag Vest no problem, just took a month over the holidays partially because of slow shipping. It's waiting for me in Austin TX to continue my riding.

I've got a pair of Castre "roadracing" gloves that I've owned since 1987. No lie. Granted, I live in Florida, so they've never seen a great deal of use (too hot here). But, after 36 years, they're still in great shape.

I bought a pair of Klim "Induction Gloves" recently from Revzilla. I'm still trying to figure out where the induction comes in. No magnets in them that I know of. I measured my hands carefully exactly the way that Klim recommends and arrived at large. When I first tried them one, I thought that they were too small. But, when it comes to gloves, I don't believe that I want them too large. These seem to fit my hands like a... Oh, never mind.

If they last one-fifth as long as my Castres have, I'll be a happy camper.

I had a tank slapper that threw me off my bike at 100km/hr last year..6 broken ribs, broken shoulder blade, punctured lung.
The paramedics cut my Klim Latitude jacket off me.
Klim replaced it for free..all they wanted was the accident report..

I was going to send in my Adventure suit pants as the thigh vent zippers keep walking down. I just haven't gotten around to it. Also ticking if I should contact Gore Tex as it wets out now and Leakes all over which I don't appreciate for a jacket that cost over $1200 7 or 8 years ago and is over $2K now.
