Hippo Hands and Standing Up

Hello! I want to get a set of hippo hands, and I really like the idea of the Alcon model with the neoprene at the wrist and the 12" length. Anyone with a GS who goes off-road and needs to stand up use the Alcon's? Do they impede your ability to stand up? What about the Medium size Rogue Hippo Hands?

I had Alcans on my Ural Gear Up and they were not conducive to standing while riding.
