Help with posting pictures from iPhone

I just tried it using my Android phone. I opened a new thread, used the picture management tool like usual, selected a picture from my phones gallery, but it failed to upload. I'm sure the iPhone would have the same features. So, it appears that you can't upload something directly from a smartphone. Maybe someone else has been successful...I was not.
Update: Actually, I take that back. I was able to upload a picture from my phone. So, if you go through the process by logging into the forum just as you would do on your home computer, uploading a picture can be done the same way.
