Hella Aux. Light, fused relay issue.

While doing some maintenance on my K75RT I came across an interesting development with the fused relay for my Hella FF50 aux. lights.

I noticed that the fuse holder section of the relay was melted.

I did a google search and found a few pictures and references from others that have had the same experience. It seems that corrosion created a poor connection and a high amp draw through the poor connection created a lot of heat.

If you have one of these installed, I would have a look and make sure it is in good working order. I have a replacement for mine on order...
