GSW GPS position

My GSW came with the GPS provisions which work great. However the GPS does cover the top section of the tacho, I am 6 ft but have the seat at the lowest setting and it still covers more than I would like.

Anyone tried to adjust the mount?

Did you try to take some slack in the cable from the right, then losen the mount and slide it to the left? Or tilt it upward (glare permitting.)

I have not had chance to try yet but I had not thought of moving it sideways just up. A good idea.
