Great River road

I'm riding the great river road and the driftless area of Wis., route 35 in late June. My plan is to leave Northern Mich. on or about June 24th. some camping and some motels. Maybe a rustic road or two. Any one that wants to join me or has advise on the route will be appreciated.

There's a small village near wildcat mountain (not far off GRR in WI). On Sunday's at noon the serve an incredible smoked chicken meal to a horde of bikers. The food is great and cheap but get there early if you don't call for a reservation. . . The sell about 200 meals in an hour and 1/2, I think the village name is Rockton. Highway 131

if you can, cross over to iowa from prairie du chien, wis., and cruise down the iowa side river road from there. go to pikes peak, just south of macgregor, great view of the wis river and miss merging.

there's also a great restaurant in balltown, iowa for must eats or dessert, called breitbach's. great views from there as well. then cross back over to go to savana, il and go to poopy's pub, get a tattoo etc., lol
