Difficulty removing exhaust from '02 r1150rs

Loosen the clamp enough to slide it forward then spray WD20 on the joint. Twist muffler and it should remove.

I think he meant WD40, but that will work. A spray penetrating oil such as Liquid Wrench brand or PB Blaster brand will work a bit better. When you put it back together apply a liberal coating of anti-seize on the pipe at the joint to prevent this problem in the future.

Thanks, I had already put penetrating oil on so your responses gave me patience to continue and after four days it was easy.
