R9T Titanium exhaust experience?

answer42

New member
I am interested in putting a titanium exhaust on my R9T. I am looking mostly for aesthetics and I really like the titanium color but also the color at the welds as it is seasoned with heat.

However, the systems available all remove the cat and that makes me slightly concerned over what it will do to the sound.

I’m looking at 2 different systems.
Akrapovic BMW R9T Titanium Header Exhaust Pipes
Unit Garage BMW R9T Titanium Exhaust Header Pipes - Visible Welds

I like the looks of the Unit Garage one more, but know that Akrapovic is a solid brand so I have to keep them in mind.

My question to the group is if anyone has either of these systems on their R9T and what the results are.

Any feedback is welcome.
