Daytona 2024 Camping?

Got some family and friends I wanted to visit in Florida and thought March would be a decent time to ride down there. Then the hooligan part of me thought, hell, I can swing through Daytona and watch a little racing and some street lunacy.

I plan to camp and I'm wondering if there is anyplace Beemer riders camp. Or, anyplace that might be recommended. I've never been to Daytona before.

Thanks.
John

Looks like for better or worse, I've decided to camp at the Volusia County Fairgrounds where they burn the giant wooden motorcycle "construction." I'm bringing earplugs and only going to stay 3 nights. One day at the races. How much "loud pipes save lives" can one person take? :)))

A rather nice week of camping can be enjoyed from a pleasant ride 40 miles south of the action zone, near the Kennedy Space Center in Brevard County. Allow about 1 hour each direction. Especially nice late evening returning south.
Manatee Hammock County Campground on US1 south of Titusville. About $250 tent weekly.

Been there once for bike week as an exhibitor. The noise (and vibration) is something else, and doesn't really decrease much until you you are several miles from the area... If you are camping within that "zone", you might want to get a pad that will reduce that vibration. It's something you can feel in your feet walking around, and even through your tires riding through town (on a rented H-D Road King, no less.) If you are an ATGATT type, expect to stand out.

I'm an ATGATT guy, I ride a BMW, I don't carry a pillion topless, I stand out.
