99 K12LT rpm drop

Just replaced the throttle cables with the upgraded version after breaking the original. Bike runs well but when coming to a stop often the rpms drop several hundred before leveling out to normal. The TPS has been reset. After suggestion have checked the throttle body springs and the injectors and wires all seem in place and secure.

I currently have 5 K1200LT's & have rode more than 300,000 mikes on them. Your 1999 is the first generation from 1999 to 2001. My 2000 LT has never responded to the throttle reset like my second generation LT's 2002 to 2004 or my 3rd generation LT's 2005 to 2009. My 2000 LT takes 150 to 300 miles for it to achieve it's normal idle.

That may be the case, it is not a big issue as it does not stall etc. I'll put some miles on it and see. Thanks
