Has anyone ever rebuilt the advance system on a 79 points in a can system? If yes, were did you purchase parts from? St.

Steve, there was a thread back in 2/2012 where Kurt referenced this link, http://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread.php?p=537856 it doesn't seem to go anywhere, maybe he can resurrect it. It was started by jforgo who doesn't seem to be active anymore.

What is goin on now
Yeah, points are available no problem, I am asking about rebuilding the rest of the can, the weights and their pins as well as springs. This is not for my 84 bike. I did foolishly change the factory electronic system to an Alpha system years ago on it. That is another long story.
