2006 BMW R1200RT Surging, stuttering - fuel starvation under acceleration.

I have been reviewing other threads similar to the problem I am having and need a little clarification.
My 2006 BMW R1200RT has around 80,000 miles and has a stutter caused by fuel starvation when accelerating in 6th gear over 4000 RPM.
From what I am seeing, the Fuel Pump Controller could be causing the issue.
Some comments refer to bypassing this Controller to verify that it may be bad.
However, I am not able to find any information on bypassing it.
Where can I find info on bypassing this Controller?
Thanks
